Taking ABC data is a great way to reduce problematic behaviour and increase positive ones (Bureau of Quality Improvement Services 2015). It’s used with children and even by large corporations for marketing purposes. Now you can benefit from it too!
How you behave is tied to your perception of an event or information. This becomes blurred (distorted) by factors such as stress, trauma, anxiety, etc? Identifying triggers and how you respond is necessary, to understand yourself more. Acknowledging the consequences of your behaviour can be hard but it is totally worth it if, you want to avoid pushing family & friends away and minimise self sabotaging behaviour. This worksheet will help you take a subjective and objective look at your behaviour- helping you to modify it. An excellent tool to supplement your therapeutic journey.
